Bar CÉ LA VI in Dubai plans to expand into Saudi NEOM

The iconic rooftop venue may soon open its second Middle East site to the public.

According to insiders with direct knowledge of the situation who spoke to Arabian Business, CÉ LA VI, an elite contemporary Asian restaurant that doubles as a nightclub in the Address Sky View Hotel in Dubai, plans to open their newest location in NEOM.

When contacted for comment, CÉ LA VI Director of Growth and Development David Lescarret stated, “During the previous two years, we have received various requests for expansion in the Middle East from investors and operators, but at this time, we haven’t verified any location.”

The $500 billion NEOM megaproject in Saudi Arabia has announced a number of foreign hotel chains and brands that will operate in the area, with some of them beginning to accept guests as early as this year.

The flagship location of CÉ LA VI

The flagship CÉ LA VI location is in Singapore, and there are similarities between that location and the one in Dubai. In the Middle East, the NEOM location would be second. Tokyo and Taipei are a couple of their other locales.

In an interview with Arabian Business in 2020, Mark Bedingham stated that he was content to keep Cé La Vi’s arrival into the Middle East exclusive. This was in reference to the launch of the Dubai branch.

We basically claim to be a three-in-one model, which is obviously quite similar to Singapore. We want to have exceptional food, a wonderful wine list, a great selection of cocktails, great music, but we also want a great view. They are both stunning during the day and spectacular at night, according to Bedingham.

The Dubai location is well-known for its iconic swing with a view of the Burj Khalifa. It is also well-known for its Michelin-starred meals, Champagne brunches, DJs, live entertainment, and drink menu.
